All you need to do is walk into a restaurant or head down to the beach in Destin to hear the chatter. Locals and tourists alike are getting excited about the Destin 4th of July celebrations that are about to start. If you love the 4th, you should pack up a bag, head down to Destin, and join in the fun. If you believe the talk around town, this is going to be a 4th of July you won’t soon forget.

4th of July Extravaganza on the Harbor

The 4th of July Extravaganza on the Harbor is the biggest Destin 4th of July celebration available. It takes place at Harborwalk Village and lasts from 5:30 PM until 10 PM. You can listen to livre music, including some patriotic WWII classics. Then, you can enjoy the fireworks at the end of the night.

Destin’s July 4th Fireworks

If you just want to enjoy some fireworks, you can attend Destin’s July 4th Fireworks. They take place at the East Pass and are put on by the City of Destin. They start at 9 PM. Be sure to tune in to Z-96.5 so you can listen to the simulcast while you watch the show.

Smoke the Coast BBQ and Fireworks Festival

It may come a day early (July 3rd), but nothing says “Destin 4th of July celebration” quite like fireworks and BBQ. The Smoke the Coast BBQ and Fireworks Festival has that, along with live music, street performers and children’s activities. It only cost $1 per BBQ sample and the money goes to charity. Stop by Destin Commons between 2 PM and 10 PM to attend this event. If you just want to sample the BBQ, head over at 5.
