This couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, families often take Destin Florida vacations. You will also find retirees and more in Destin. Sure, there are some college kids, but that is just a small number of the people who come to Destin. If you aren’t in college, don’ let that keep you from traveling to Destin.

Myth – Destin Only Has a Beach to Offer Travelers

Destin has so much more than a beach to offer. It is known for its fishing, golf, shopping, and dining. It also has various other attractions, including museums. While the beach is certainly beautiful, it is just a small sampling of what Destin has to offer. If you like the beach, be sure to hit it up when you are in Destin. However, if you aren’t a beach person, you can still come to Destin and have a blast.
